Service
Torve is a media companion for discovery, organization, playback, synchronization, device linking, and account-backed workflows. Torve does not provide movies, shows, channels, playlists, streams, IPTV service, third-party subscriptions, or rights to third-party content.
Source license and app access
Torve source code is licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Android and Fire TV access remain free. The iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV release is in preparation. Catalog browsing will be available without a subscription; setting up sources and playing media will require a monthly Torve Premium subscription and a Torve account. Apple Premium subscriptions
When available, Torve Premium will be purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system as a monthly auto-renewable subscription. Apple will show the applicable regional price, billing period, and purchase terms before confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled.
Use Premium across your Apple devices with the Torve account associated with your purchase. Restore purchases in the app using that account. Android access does not grant an Apple subscription. Connected media services may have their own charges, terms, and access requirements; Premium does not include those subscriptions or content rights.
Manage or cancel your subscription in Apple subscription settings. Deleting your Torve account does not cancel Apple billing. Apple purchases are also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement and the purchase terms shown by Apple.
Accounts
Accounts provide synchronization, device linking, account-backed storage, recovery, export, deletion, ownership boundaries, and security controls. Account registration is not a purchase.
User responsibilities
- Use only lawful content sources and services you are permitted to access.
- Keep account, provider, playlist, and device credentials secure.
- Comply with connected services' terms and applicable law.
- Do not bypass authentication, ownership, privacy, device-security, or anti-abuse controls.
- Do not post credentials, private logs, or sensitive user data to public support channels.
Third-party services and extensions
Torve can communicate with user-selected services and extensions. Their availability, content, privacy practices, and terms are controlled by their operators. Torve does not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party services or content.
Intellectual property and attribution
Torve source code is licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Third-party metadata, artwork, titles, descriptions, and marks remain the property of their owners. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Watch-provider availability data supplied through TMDB is powered by JustWatch.
Donations
Donations are voluntary support only. They do not create feature access, quotas, badges, support priority, storage, sync, themes, content, or other product capabilities.
Availability and termination
Torve and connected services may change or become unavailable. Torve may suspend or terminate account-backed services where required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or material violation of these terms.
